Africa’s music superstar Davido was in Cameroon with Dj Ecool as part of his 30 billion African tour. The event took place at Camtel Bepanda Douala on Saturday, 17th March. The event was sponsored by Sony, Iconprod, Canal2, Trace, CRTV, and many other brands
Davido’s highly anticipated 30 billion African tour was nothing short of expectation. The population of Cameroon especially Douala was so much excited to receive Davido in Cameroon.
He made several visits in Douala like Kadji before coming to perform on stage.
After a long wait, the crowd got crazy the moment he stepped on stage. It was an outstanding performance.
He was supported on stage by some Cameroonian artists in the likes of Nabila, Duc.z, Tyz Panchak, Boy Tag, Dynastie le Tigre, Obaker Teety Tezano and many others.
Davido always delivers and so did the other Cameroonian artists who were part of this show. At the end of the show, Davido called his Cameroonian friend Stanley Enow, to join him on stage. Davido left the stage with his trousers only, as he gave his shirt, belt and shoes to the crowd.
We think it will be great if Crtv promotes our own artists in such a magnitude. Davido took our money to Nigeria lol. After being sponsored by many Cameroonian companies, we hope things will continue in this light for Cameroonian uprising artist.
We could promote our own artists, issue out endorsement deals, and have them organise huge concerts in other countries as well. We also saw a video of Davido on social media asking Cameroonians to support their own.

@davidoofficial sends out a strong message to all Cameroonians that they should learn to support their home based musicians, "coz every artists in Cameroon should be world wide because your music is beautiful" Thats why the naija guy says, "the only people i know in Cameroon are Samuel Eto'o and Stanley Enow "🤔 _____________ #dcodedtv #team237 #DavidoinCameroon #30billionafricatour #cameroon #davido #sonymusiciv #IconProdAfrica
He also added that our music is good but we need to show love to our artists. Plus he said he only knows Stanley Enow and Samuel Eto’o in Cameroon. This was him responding to an invitation he got from some Buea boys (we don’t know them either) asking him to come to Buea.
