At the age of 31, media mogul and entrepreneur Adebola Williams popularly known as Adebola Williams, has helped three African presidents get into the presidency.
Adebola Williams is the co-founder of Red Media Africa, and founder/CEO of Statecraft Inc, a political communications agency.
Williams worked on the campaign that got former Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan into the presidency. Four years later, he chose to render his expertise to the Muhammadu Buhari team and helped them win the elections. Reason being that, he felt President Jonathan’s administration had fallen short in so many areas of governance.

These two major milestones were reached because of his understanding of social media, and his ability to connect youths through it. He coached his candidates to be media savvy.
His success with two presidents in Nigeria, grabbed the attention of Ghana’s two political parties, who approached him, asking him to render them his services. He chose to represent president Nana Akufo Addo who now describes William as “the man with the golden touch”.
Adebola Williams recently gave a powerful speech at the closing session (themed Collective Power) of the Obama Foundation Summit which ran from 31st October- 1st November.
Here are a few things we picked from his speech
1 The currency of this generation is talent
2 Africa is woke
3 The media is the most powerful estate in the world. The media defines our choices. It determines what brands you buy, where you live, what you do.
4 Nothing can be more powerful than a committed group, no matter the size. The citizens must never stop demanding from those we have contracted to supply us governance, especially because we have seen the brightest of the hope bearers go to sleep as soon as they get power in their hands.
5 Hope is our weapon, media is our tool, and action is the remedy.
In despair lies several opportunities, especially to be pioneers and to take initiatives
