Today, skincare and men grooming are considered far more serious than before as men are not ready to be left behind. The trend of fashion and cosmetics taking lead in the entertainment industry has birthed young minds in a full profession in beauty, skincare, and fragrances. Maximizing her career flexibility, Kellie Peace, CEO of BeautyCarebyKP is making a mark in the cosmetic industry with her newly launched skincare line for men.

As a teenager who loved beauty at its best, Kellie was dedicated to using anything that would make her glow. From body lotions to facial cleansers and acne treatments, Kellie tried everything but none seemed to work perfectly for her.

“I got into certain products in the market which greatly damaged my skin since they were inorganic and contained hydroquinone. These products left me with certain skin disorders like stretch marks which made me uncomfortable and dress-conscious. I tried every product I heard of that could solve my skin issues but none of them worked.”

Thinking hydroquinone in inorganic products was the cause of her dissatisfaction, the young beautician dived into the use of natural products. However, the results weren’t much different as she couldn’t find her skincare remedy anywhere, not even on YouTube.

Years went by and Kellie relocated to Kuwait. There, she was selected amongst others to work in one of the country’s largest skincare clinical companies as a personal secretary to the CEO.

“The company was large enough and had its own skincare experts like skincare associates, skincare dermatologists, managers and all other board of directors.”

Within the first few weeks of work, Kellie’s passion for beauty and skincare grew even bigger. Not only did she work as a secretary but opted to take part in the skincare researchers crew.

“My boss, seeing my passion for skincare, gave me the go-ahead and I dedicated so much time and effort not just for the money but for the love of skincare. I eventually came up with my own personal skin research which helped the company in one way or the other. Not only did I impress my boss, but all those around him.”

With all enthusiasm and hard work, Kellie picked up skills which she tried on her own at home based on personal research.

“The tips I gathered worked so well on my skin. I solved most of my skin issues and I had the utmost skin goals I ever desired.”

Almost attaining her skin goals, Kellie was happy but she still had the burning desire to go in deeper into skincare. As such, the ambitious beautician invested more time in her skincare research, assisting the skincare production associates at work.

I came to work first and left last. I spent the whole day working and learning with and from beauty experts in the company.

“My passion, devotion, attention, and ideas to the company caught the sight of the CEO as he decided to recommend me to the other shareholders for knowledge expansion.”

Indeed, hard work pays. Kellie’s extra-time and efforts at work didn’t go unnoticed as her company decided to pay 70% of her tuition at the KWT International Beauty Center Salmiya. This was a spark to the career of the young beautician who now owns a skincare brand.

“I completed studies after three full years of intense natural skincare remedies while working part-time with a skincare clinic. I continued working for my company for a few months as a qualified skincare doctor. My taste for expansion started developing. Well, I must say at this moment, I was able to produce my own products which I used on myself and it was effective.  With my certificate, I could either open up a legalized skincare training school or start up a skincare line which of course depends on the budget.

“After serving my company for a fair period of time, I proposed the idea of starting up my own skincare line to my boss and his advice was for me to situate any African country, start-up there and then expand all over the world. I yielded to his advice and today, Beauty Care by Kellie Peace is legally registered in Cameroon and Ghana with its products sold all over the world.”

Beauty Care by Kellie Peace: It’s all about the skin

BeautyCarebyKP is a skincare company that has been quite successful in the skincare market thanks to its iconic organic skincare products. Now, the Cameroonian cosmetics label is taking its first step into men’s grooming with a brand new skincare line.

The new launch includes a range of skin grooming products that have already hit the market with the BeautyCare for men skin line. This product regenerates a man’s skin, giving him a younger and smoother look.

“Most skin lines focus on the female sex but BeautyCareByKP ought to be different because our identity is unique. I had this idea buried deep down to do something for our men too but needed time to grow the brand first. But I couldn’t wait any longer as most men have reached out to me appreciating the efforts I put in for their women to get a healthy, smooth, and glowing skin and requesting to have their own skin products. Some were even ready to start buying the female sets and this pushed me to quicken my plans,” Kellie Peace, CEO of BeautyCarebyKP told Bequadi.

The men’s shade comprises the dark skin, brown skin, and light skin, as well as the Matisse skin body kits. The men body kit according to Kellie, has more moisturizing natural agents intended for a soft, smooth, young, glowing and fresh skin designed particularly to suit a man’s body type.

Having released this new line only recently, “anyone who has already started using the men body kit should have noticed an improvement in his skin moisture,” Kellie reassured.

Conquering the cosmetic industry

Although now making waves, the two-year-old cosmetic industry has had its highs and lows like every other business.

“It was a rough journey in the beginning as many people misunderstood the purpose of my products. Many couldn’t accept the concept of “organic” which was my goal. While some thought the products were just meant for the light skin shade, others who were already exposed to hydroquinone products with several skin damages found it hard to accept something new.”

Despite these challenges, the young skincare specialist refused to fall to all the negative vibes. Instead, she focused on creating awareness by using herself and brand ambassadors in all skin shades as an example.

Currently registered in Cameroon and Ghana, BeautyCarebyKP (whose products are dermatologically tested, organic, and hydroquinone-free), are also sold worldwide. With the launch of this new line of products, BeautyCarebyKP intends to launch more products for men.

The young skincare doctor, Kellie Peace, envisions the establishment of an empire that comprises all skincare products from babies to all age groups and for every gender.

f rejection when I just started, my products were misunderstood for being a bleaching agent, while others thought it was meant only for light skin girls. Moreover, most people didn’t understand the difference between Organic products and hydroquinone products.

Kellie Peace are my names, A Cameroonian precisely from the North West Region. I grew up naturally loving beauty and everything about fashion and apparels.

As a teenager who loved beauty at its best, I was dedicated to using anything that will make me glow.  I got into certain products in the market which greatly damaged my skin since they were inorganic and contained hydroquinone.

These products left me with certain skin disorders like stretch marks which made me uncomfortable and dress conscious. I tried every product I heard of that could solve my skin issues but none of them worked.

I still didn’t give up on finding solutions to my skin, I started watching youtube videos on natural ways to eradicate stretch marks and I kept on applying all sorts of natural ingredients on my skin which wasn’t still effective.

I had the opportunity to travel to KW at a tender age and  my mission was to make money like any other person does and fortunately for me I was selected amongst others to work in one of the largest SKINCARE CLINIC company in KW which had branches in most part of the world as a personal secretary to the CEO of the company.

This company was large enough and had its own skincare experts like skincare associates, skincare dermatologists, managers and all other board of directors.

Within the first few weeks of work, my passion for beauty and skincare grew even bigger than I started extending my job not only as a secretary but opted to take part in the skincare researchers crew.

My boss seeing my passion for skincare gave me the go-ahead and I dedicated so much time and effort not just for the money but for the love of skincare. I came up with my own personal skin research which helped the company in one way or the other.

Not only did I impress my boss, but all those around him. With all this hardwork I even started picking up skills and trying them back on myself back home based on my personal research.

These tips I gathered worked so well on my skin, I solved most of my skin issues and I had the almost skin goals I ever desired. All these weren’t still enough because I wasn’t satisfied as I had the hunger to go in deeper for skincare.

I did my normal secretarial duties and stayed back for longer hours helping skincare researchers with their research and assisting the skincare production associates at work. I came to work first and left last.

I spent the whole day working and learning with and from beauty experts in the company. My passion, devotion, attention, and ideas to the company caught the sight of the CEO as he decided to recommend me to the other shareholders for knowledge expansion.

Due to my handwork which was noticeable even amongst colleagues, the request was granted and my company surrendered to pay 70 percent of my tuition at the (KWT) International Beauty Center Salmiya.

Well, I will like to say that it has been God all this while and especially at this level and it was at this moment I had realized the difference between working with passion and working for just to be paid.

In order to handle my other expenses and most importantly to complete the 30 percent of my tuition and show gratitude I had to continue working at Dermaglow Clinic Salmiyah block 12, 4th Ring Road Abothar Al-Ghafari street 22 tho for lesser hours as I had school at hand.

I completed studies after three full years of intense natural skincare remedies and working with a Skin Care Clinic side by side. I continued working for my company for a few months over 4 and then as a qualified skincare doctor my taste for expansion started developing.

Well, I must say at this moment I was able to produce my own products which I used on myself and it was effective.  I met a lot of people who mistook me for an Arabic lady, some started questioning what I was using on my skin, while others even asked for skincare advice.

It should be noted that with my certificate I could either open up a legalized skincare training school or start up a skincare line which of course depends on the budget.

After serving my company for a fair period of time , i proposed the idea to the CEO of starting up my own Skincare line and his advice was for me to situate any African country  being an African and start-up with and then I can expand all over the world which I yielded to and today Beauty Care by Kellie Peace is legally registered in Cameroon and Ghana and is old all over the world.

It wasn’t a plate of cake as I faced a lot of rejection when I just started, my products were misunderstood for being a bleaching agent, while others thought it was meant only for light skin girls. Moreover, most people didn’t understand the difference between Organic products and hydroquinone products. BeautyCare is hydroquinone-free.

I thank God for having a deaf ear to all those rejections and misunderstanding and that has kept me moving. It took a while for people to get sensitized about organic products, their importance and how they work. And even a long while for people to get to understand my products were for all skin shades.

I am soon launching the BeautyCare for men in all skin shades, I am working hard on this and so far its been positive thanks to God. As a multi-tasking individual, I work in line with Conastrel Engine Oil Services (KWT) manufactured in Nigeria as the main distributor in Cameroon. They are equally open to main distributors in other parts of Africa.

My aim is to own an Empire that comprises of all SKin care products  beginning from the babies, adults and old irrespective of the gender and I must say again whatever made me reach this level, will make me reach that aspired level because I do not take in negative vibes, I don’t feel touched by negative drives, I am self-motivated enough and fully energized to ignore any negative talk because it has kept me going.
