Makonjo Media is organizing an intensive training program on web development. The program is for selected persons in Christian groups and Muslim communities across the country. This program will build into attendees, the necessary skills required for present-day evangelism. Participants will also acquire skills that will enable them conceive and build world-class websites and mobile applications to facilitate their evangelistic missions.
Almost every activity in life now has secured a space in the techsphere. The work of evangelism must come up strong to catch up with the fast-paced generation.
Therefore, we humbly request that each church and mosque sends in two members to partake in this training that will run from April 18 to 21, 2018.
According to Otto Akama, Managing Director of Makonjo Media, this program is aimed at helping Christians and Muslims gain skills in technology that they can use to facilitate evangelism in their respective religions.
“The proliferation of religious organizations in our African communities has grown. This growth continues with one mission – to evangelize and touch as many lives as possible. Yet, most of these religious bodies lack the necessary skill set and technology to realize this mission.
“It is against this backdrop that we decided to come up with a free-to-attend training program. The training will help forge these skills, using the right technologies to deliver the right results. At Makonjo, we believe in supporting others realize their goals. And we are proud to use our expertise in technology innovation to help churches and mosques touch the lives of many through evangelism.
“In line with our mission to create a truly digital Africa, we are also offering free career counseling to individuals who want to build a career in ICT but don’t know how to go about it,” Otto Akama announced.
Makonjo Media is a software development and marketing technology company in the Silicon
Mountain with a special focus on supporting Africans in the Diaspora to build technology
