Modeling in Cameroon is still a growing field with a light cheque. But young and ambitious models like Ndolo Nako still believe in this art. Ndolo is one of Camer’s uprising video vixens, a commercial model and an aspiring actress. Signed to Buildup Models, a U.S-based model management agency that scouts, trains, and markets models, Ndolo has become one of the most recognizable faces in Cameroon’s modeling industry.

Being a model is much more than posing for a photo shoot or running the fashion runway. Your beauty, style, and glamour will be the product used for promotion, a commercial campaign or even a piece of art. These are some of the attributes that qualify Ndolo as a rising star within the modeling industry in Cameroon.

There are aspiring models who have not had a chance for a breakthrough yet. And one reason for this is the meager pay for models in Cameroon. Ndolo, however, understood long ago that it’s not always about the cheque. Rather it takes passion to achieve a feat in all walks of life.

“Modeling is a great platform to gain exposure and build a sophisticated brand,” she said.

“My interest and love for modeling dates back to my secondary school days. I look up to the good aspects of Kim Kay, Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj. They are a great source of inspiration,” she opened up.

Still in the University gives her no pretext to pursue her modeling dreams. This young talent has featured in 11 music videos; Weekend by Salatiel, Sidomina Awu ft Stanley Enow, Number One girl show by Wax DEY, Woman by Breezkid, Bomba by Makon, kilode by Da-Pro and Bougez by Bryan Frico, etc…

Recently, Nako emerged victorious and won best Glamour model in Cameroon 2018 at the Afric Dap Award. She is also contestant number one for a ‘miss’ competition called, Miss Zuri Africa Cameroon.

Staying true to her passion for modeling, Ndolo hasn’t lost sight of other things as she is currently working on releasing a short episode movie titled, “The Untold Stories.” Knowing that culture plays a big part even in her career, Ndolo Nako is equally working on a grand project hinged on the importance of preserving our culture.

Whether you are new to the industry or an experienced model who needs assistance reinforcing your career in modeling, Ndolo Nako could become your idol and mentor.
