Cameroonian talents have been quite absent on CNN African Voices, until recently. Stanley Enow in a recent interview with CNN African Voices happens to be one of the very few, and the first musician to get that opportunity.
Stanley Enow’s rise to the Entertainment industry sprung from his hit single “Hein Père”. After four years, Stanley Enow is still a strong force in the Cameroonian industry and is putting his country Cameroon on the African and world map.
Being the first Cameroonian to win Best New Act award at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, his career made a huge turnaround.
He might receive a few criticisms from viewers but as it stands, he’s one of those few artists in Cameroon, who understands the business of entertainment.
Someone who knows what effects branding and packaging has on an artist’s career. Probably the reason he still garners all the international attention; something most artists should learn from him.
With a series of Pan-African collaborations with top African artists like AKA, Ice Prince, and most recently Mr Eazi, Stanley Enow keeps pushing and shows he still has a long time around.
From being one of those “cool kids” back in school who will break dance and rap to the Jay Zs, to his journey to stardom, the “Hein Père” master unveils all of that on CNN African Voices.
